Hormonal Disorders

ImageBased on the individual needs of the body, the therapy aims to improve the balance of natural hormones, which for various reasons are depleted or imbalanced. The preparations are entirely bioidentical, represent a molecular analogue of natural human hormones. They do not disrupt normal hormone production, but correct imbalances and improve health. New studies show that their use alleviates menopausal symptoms and counteract the effects of aging and disease in both women and men.

Hormone replacement or hormone balancing therapy has been known and applied for decades with certain side effects, the most significant of which are an increased risk of blood clots and accordingly, vascular incidents such as heart attacks, an increased risk of breast cancer. However recent laboratory and clinical studies have proven that these side effects are due to the modification of the natural hormones by the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in order to patent them as drugs. See the difference between natural /bioidentical/ Progesterone and the widely used synthetic progestin - Provera.

It is the additional attached chemical groups that are responsible for the known side effects of most hormonal preparations. Bioidentical hormones have no chemical groups attached. They are structurally identical to hormones produced by the body and do not have the side effects of synthetic preparations. Bioidentical hormones are most often offered as implants, and their effect is between 3 and 6 months, depending on the condition of the body, type and amount of the hormone.
